Newtown ‘Men’s Shed’ is a safe and nurturing place, where men of all ages come together to work on projects, share skills and share experiences at their own pace. To be inclusive and deliver benefits to all in the community. Improve social and community involvement of men, who have time on their hands, as a result of participating in activities which encourage dialogue and positive actions. We are developing a place to encourage lifelong learning, interaction for personal and health benefits. Improving and increase community cohesion by participation in activities that promote independence, integrational relationships and kinship between people of differing backgrounds, cultures and abilities. To engage fully with different communities and learn from other groups and experiences.
